Greetings John Wesley Faith Community,

Sunday, March 8, was the last Sunday that we all were in our sanctuary for worship. A whole lot has happened since that day. The coronavirus has claimed the lives of over 231,000; thousands of people have lost jobs; schools have been shut down for in-person learning; Black Lives Matter and its supporters have marched all over the world for justice; we have had a presidential election where the current president still won’t concede.  But Through It All, we STILL have So Many Things to be Thankful For!  Our Wednesday night Bible Study has been reminding us that God is our Provider, Healer, Banner, Peace, Shepherd, and Righteousness.  Through it All, We are Still here! God has kept us! So let’s give God Thanks.  This Sunday is our Thanksgiving Sunday. We will have times for you to share a testimony, to share what you are Thankful for in the season of Thanksgiving 2020. Come prepared to share your testimony.  Your testimony might be exactly what someone needs to hear to make it through.
Our Governor has issued some new mandates regarding actions for us to take as the coronavirus infection rate continues to rise in the state of Maryland and all over the country.  Please make sure you you are keeping yourself safe and those around you. Wear a mask. Practice social distancing. Wash your hands often. And Be Smart, Don’t let your guards down!

If you must go out, wear a mask. AND Please, Practice social distancing.

I Love You.  I Miss You.
See You on Sunday,
Pastor Carter-Rimbach
